One quick note about my new website and shop: There are still a few things I’m working to get organized, like the galleries, I’ll be adding some videos, and the shop will go live soon. Right now you can add things to the cart but not go through the checkout. I’ll post again once things are up and running. Until then, if you’d like to make a purchase just let me know by email or my contact page, and I’ll get back to you.

My painting reveal, “The Happy Viking” is coming up fast. I’m so looking forward to doing another live reveal. This one is closer to home, in East Nashville at Honeytree Meadery. You might have seen the details on my events page. If not, go check it out. We have a full fun day planned including food truck, Southern Strings Jewlery, Mead, and some other shenanigans:) Also, just for fun costumes are encouraged

So, just a little info on the painting I’m working on for the Honeytree event; I think this painting will be a perfect match for the meadery and the guys who own it. This will be done similar to what I did for Artfields, “Clown Off The Clock.” I’ll show up with all the panels ready for sanding and rubbing. If you’re able to be there or watch my livestream you’ll get to see me reveal the ink transfer of a painting consisting of several panels. As I complete each panel you’ll see the image come to life. Like “Clown Off The Clock” this one will have a fun narrative. Only this one has a lot more imagery and color. And even I don’t really know how things will go. I had to really use a lot of different magazines to get all the colors needed. I’m pretty sure it’l be fine, but I always worry some of the transfer won’t work right. So theres a little drama for ya! You might get to see me stress about fixing a goof-up.

This will pretty much be an all day event. They’l open up at 12noon and I’ll work on the painting until its done. I hope to have it completed by around 7 or 8pm. So come by for the whole thing or just drop in and watch when you can. The most exciting time to watch me work will be between 6 & 8. The meadery will stay open until 11pm for those of you wanting to make a night of it. It’s going to be a blast, so bring your friends, share with others, watch me stream live, whatever you gotta do:) I really appreciate you following my journey. RLP
