Happy Tuesday to you all! I’m back in the studio after a nice long weekend on Norris Lake in east TN, and am slowly getting back to all my to-do items. I’ll be brief today, but will be back within a week to share more about our Mystery Art League event. I hope to have the website for this venture soon. You can find teasers for the first event on IG at: https://www.instagram.com/mysteryartleague/
First thing is my article in the American Bee Journal. That issue came out recently and I’m so excited at how it looks. I realize not all of you are subscribers to the journal, so I’ll make sure and share a link to the article once they post it to the site.
Another great bit of news I’m excited to share is my new partnership with a local gallery, Copper Fox Gallery in Leiper’s Fork. I was fortunate enough to meet Talbott and John at our pop-up event at the Theta General Store and then I visited their gallery a few weeks later. I’ll be delivering some paintings to them later this month. Of course, I’ll let you know once I do:) You can check out the gallery here: https://www.thecopperfoxgallery.com
If you haven’t been to the Metro Parks Centennial Art Center to see the “Bee Aware” exhibit, I highly recommend making that trip. It’s a wonderful exhibit focused on pollinators/ bees. You can find more info about it on my events page. Here’s a link to the event site: https://www.nashville.gov/News-Media/News-Article/ID/9971/Bee-Aware-An-Exhibit-About-Bees-at-Centennial-Art-Center.aspx
True to how 2020 has gone, the in person Artsclamation event has been move to an online platform. I guess the bonus is that the event will be open for a longer period of time and you can check out the artwork from the comfort of your own home. I’ll update the event on my events page Wirth a link to the artwork available. It supports a wonderful cause, so please check it out. The event coordinators will post updates on their website too. You can find that info here: https://www.covenanthealthgiving.org/site/TR?fr_id=1185&pg=entry
I’ve written way more than I planned, again. I forget how many things I have going on until I start writing about them. Not gonna complain. I’m thankful for all these opportunities and for having so many that support the things I do. Please reach out if you’d like to know more about any of these items or if you’re interested in purchasing any of my work.
Until next time, stay safe! RLP
