Halfway there!!

Can you believe it? Here we are, just past the middle of May. This year is flying by! I’ve tried my best to keep busy, while still being productive in the studio. It’s easy being busy, being productive is a whole other thing:)

The Community Art Project has slowed a bit. I’ve received half of the completed pieces so far, and I suspect that there are several completed ones that just haven’t been put in the mail. 50!! That’s pretty good! We aren’t in a huge hurry, but I am anxious to get them in my hands so I can start planning how they will be composed. So, if you are done with your project piece, please get it in the mail as soon as you can;) I’d love to be sharing more images of all those beautiful pieces together. Just a little incentive for sending back your completed tile, I’m working on a special gift for those that do. Don’t miss out.

The next project is still in the planning stages. One of the things I’m doing in the studio is experimenting with how I want to proceed. I do want the next one to be a little more structured, and have a timeline, but not be a burden on those of you that want to participate. If you have replied that you want to participate, I’ve added you to a list. If you haven’t let me know, please do so and I’ll get you on the list. The amount of participants on the next one will determine the size of the tile. It will still be fairly smaller, just because of the cost of shipping, but could be up to 8 inches:) Are you up for that? I’m sure it will be less intimidating, now that you’ve done the smaller one.

That’s all I have for now. I’m working on several new projects, but not at the point where I can share much about them. I’ll keep you posted as often as I can. Also, I’m posting updates on the RB group page. Make sure you’re added. Thank you all! Stay Safe! RLP

  1. Hi Randy,
I’d love to be included in your community. I have done a few ink to beeswax projects using your techniques and really enjoyed them. Please include me as a participant in future community projects.
    Thanks, Kathy Hunt
